JOSÉ LUIS YAGÜE BLANCO was born in 1974, in Madrid.

RESEARCH:
He participated in various projects in development programming within the framework of European regional policy. He also participated in monitoring and evaluation of development programmes, as well as different support schemes of the common agricultural policy. Since 2002, he is studying the adaptation of European rural development instruments to a Latin American context, as well as the adaptation of project management theory to territorial development and development cooperation projects.
Since 2012 he is Secretary of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Association of Project Management and Engineering.
TEACHING
Academic Secretary of the Master and Doctorate in Project Planning for Development and Sustainable Management at UPM, both administrative coordinator at UPM as well as in the Erasmus Mundus consortium, to which the programmes belong. He is also the academic coordinator of the Master's Thesis module.
He has been deputy coordinator of the International Master in Rural-Local Development during the 2005-2007 academic year and coordinator of the Planning Models module since the 2009 academic year.
Since 2001 he supervised and participated in the module “Projects” and “Integrated Rural Development Projects”.
