ABSTRACT
From the perspective of skills development, professional competences have become strategic elements to improve professional capacity to respond to work effective and efficiently, in order to achieve the expected results. This trend is not indifferent within educational projects, with special emphasis on principal´s educational leadership effects on education outcomes. Based on the competences distributed on technical, behavior and contextual skills which aims to define a professional profile for school principals to promote improvement on educational performance focused on public education and for Latin America.
