RESUMEN

Factors such as population aging, rural areas abandonment and agricultural activities lack of competitiveness, are some of the problems that rural areas are facing today. This is the context in which this research is located, and its  main objective is to study planning tools and their adaptation to the development of innovative entrepreneurial  initiatives that affect the economic and social revitalization of the territories. The research analyses a case study based  on an entrepreneurship and development program located in the rural areas of Sierra de Ávila. The business projects’  integration and the enhancement of the territories are the main elements for formulating the strategy and success of  this program.
