PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Our paths of research in this area are:

  • Professional competences in the management of development projects
  • Formation in competences oriented to the certification in the direction of projects

Nowadays, the success of a project based on the fulfilment of its requirements in the anticipated term, without exceeding the budgeted costs and with the defined quality is an objective that no longer depends exclusively on a good estimation, planning and control. For that reason it is no longer he is advisable to simply understand the management of projects like a technical function dedicated to planning and controlling the development of the projects.

The suitable combination of the necessary principles for a suitable management of the projects have been conforming a new discipline: the “Projects Management”. It is an independent discipline which requires for an academic formation, for the dominion of a previous body of knowledge and for appropriate techniques and tools. From GESPLAN we tried to respond to this reality contributing a suitable approach for the formation in competitions of professionals who dominate the knowledge, more modern techniques and tools to face the change, the risks and the limitations.

Our objectives in the formation/professionalization in Projects Management are:

  1. To give a conceptual and practical frame (knowledge, abilities, techniques, tools and practices) which helps to solve problems.
  2. To form managers and leaders able to evolve with facility in complex organizations and in the diversity.
  3. To enable the students to surpass successfully the tests for its certification as Professionals.
